Message from Kelowna Kennel Club

• There is no electrical available - all units must be self contained.
• RV sites are approx. a football field distance from the rings - which is behind a fence, so you will not be able to work out of your RV and is some distance from the rings. The club is providing one free day tent space for those who are camping overnight, with the option of purchasing more.
• Washrooms are available between the hours of 6:00AM and 10:00PM. Portable toilets will also be available with 24-hour access in designated spots within the camping area.
• Shower facilities/dressing rooms will be available during regular operating hours at the Apple Bowl (6 am to 11 pm) If showers at Apple Bowl are closed for another event showers are available at Parkinson Rec Center for a fee detail at main desk
• In the event of heavy rain - absolutely NO driving in and out from the overnight parking area for any reason.
• The park is closed at 10:00 pm until 6 :00 am and participants must respect this as quiet time.
• Generators in the day tent area can not be started before 7:00 am.
• All generators must sit in a spill containment tray (ie. - hot water heater trays at Home Depot, cost approx. $12). If assistance is needed loading generators in or out of trays and vehicles, members of KKC will gladly help.
• Blocks/boards must be used under all jacks and levelers to avoid damage to grounds.
• ONE vehicle per space (tow vehicle + trailer counts as one).
• EZ Ups / canopies / tents can not be staked - sandbags or weights only - applies to RV parking area as well.
• Nothing may be tied to, or attached to, any trees, park structures, or fencing.
• Sprinklers will be operating overnight on the soccer fields and grassy areas – please remove all personal effects so that they do not incur damage.
• Exhibitors not respecting the rules and guidelines will be evicted from the show site. There will be no refunds.
• ALL dogs must remain on leash or in an enclosed pen/crate while on the show grounds as reserved by the club.

Additionally - all overnight campers will be charged a CASH damage deposit upon arrival, which will be refunded after site inspection, immediately prior to before departure.  There is one free day tent space included, if needed, with each RV space.
Anyone caught dumping or releasing black or grey water tanks will be ejected from the grounds, and fined $1500 cleanup fee.

There will be no refund of any fees after close of entries.

Please note: I am away at the Renaissance shows from April 11th to April 18th.   I will NOT be sending payment requests or acknowledgements during that time.  All day tent and RV reservations are time and date stamped once made.
